PHILOSOPHY
Our goal is to have fun while learning about distance running, and while improving our fitness and skill levels. Cross Country is a sport in which personal achievement is just as important as team achievement, and by improving yourself you improve the team. Everyone will participate; there is no "sitting the bench" in cross country. We will work hard, play hard, and enjoy success together.
PRACTICES
First Practice: Wed. Sept. 25
Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays Sept. 25 - Nov. 6 from 6:00-7:00 PM
at the Greenfield Central Junior High School Track
What to Bring to Practices:
On the first day:
*You MUST have completed all required registration paperwork and be a USATF Member in order to practice.
Required Forms
Every day:
proper attire, water bottle or sports drink
Mandatory: running or cross training sneakers (not: basketball shoes, Converse, Keds, etc)
Mandatory: running clothes that show no more skin than the team uniform (a tank-top shirt and running shorts).
Mandatory: long hair must be pulled back (pony tail or braid) throughout every practice and meet
Mandatory: proper undergarments
